Our Testing Process
Before any calculator goes live, it passes rigorous testing.
Step 1: Formula Verification
We source every formula from at least two authoritative references: IRS publications, WHO guidelines, NIST standards, or established textbooks.
Step 2: Manual Testing
Every calculator is tested with at least 10 input combinations including typical values, round numbers, edge cases (zero, very small, very large), and known published answers.
Step 3: Cross-Verification
We compare results against established calculators (Bankrate, Calculator.net, IRS tables) to confirm outputs match within rounding tolerance.
Step 4: Ongoing Monitoring
Tax calculators are updated annually. All others reviewed quarterly. User-reported issues are investigated within 24 hours.
